Here Are 3 Things to Strongly Consider Before You Start an Online Business
1. Do not chase the customer. Chasing customers is nothing more than a waste of time. You can not make some one buy something that they do not want. In addition to that you have way more important things to do than pursuing a lead that does not want to cooperate with your plan. If you speak to a customer that does not genuinely seem interested in what you have to offer than move on and let your online business system follow up on these people. It may be that they will have more interest at another time after they have received more information from your email campaign. The other reason why you should not chase them is because it is degrading to have to and it will mess up your mindset, which is a whole different article subject.
2. Do not over sale your product, from your online business either it is right for them or it is not. Some potential customers that you contact are not going to be right for your product. You should be able to determine this within just a few moments on the phone. An example would be if you have gotten indications from them that they have no money and reject your ideas of where they might raise the money. At this point, it does not matter how good of a sales pitch you give because they do not have any money and are unwilling to find it so they are a waste of your time. Not everyone will be in the right situation to take advantage of what you have to offer. Be polite and get off of the phone.
3. Tell the truth. It is always so important to tell the truth about your product. If you cannot tell the truth about it than you are marketing the wrong product for you. Any untruth you tell will typically come back to you in a bad way so just keep it truthful. This way you will be a happier person, you will sleep better at night and you will never have to worry about something coming back to haunt you. I have been in the Real Estate business for almost thirty years and I actually have clients who joke with me about the times I talked them out of buying a house. This was because I simply did not feel that the particular house was right for them and I always new that I could find them something better. In this case maybe I prolonged selling them something but ultimately created a lifetime customer. I truly do believe that this contributed to my success in the Real Estate business and I feel that it will also be an asset in the online business. So in conclusion do not chase your leads, over sell your product and most importantly; always tell the truth. If you follow my advice I promise you that success in the online business world will come much easier to you than you ever imagined.
